About the role
- Talent Acquisition Consultant recruiting specialized data center operations talent for Cologix, a North American interconnection and edge data center company. Managing sourcing, screening, interviews, offers, and ATS reporting.
Responsibilities
- Lead staffing efforts to attract and screen a diverse pool of qualified talent for the Data Center Operations organization
- Collaborate with department managers to identify and draft detailed, accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria
- Manage job posting and advertisement processes
- Schedule interviews and communicate with candidates throughout the interview process
- Complete initial candidate screenings and recommend candidates to the hiring team
- Assist with and drive interviews, including attending and conducting feedback sessions with managers, directors, and stakeholders
- Collaborate with hiring managers and human resources staff during offers, recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and related details
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, provincial, and local employment laws, regulations, and company policies
- Maintain recruiting databases and the Lever ATS for reporting accuracy
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, required
- Previous experience recruiting in the telecommunications or Data Center industry preferred
- Experience recruiting in a high-volume environment for operations-focused roles including HVAC, Mechanical, Technician, etc. helpful
- Good relationship-building skills and proven track record of partnering with various types of hiring managers
- Previous experience in a recruiting agency is a plus
- Experience and proven ability to passively source candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter a plus
- Ability to assess candidates during Zoom interviews and provide insights to the hiring team
- At least five years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process highly preferred
- Proven negotiation and closing techniques
- Experience working with an ATS highly preferred; Lever experience given preference
- Bilingual French/English is a requirement
