Responsibilities
Support and participate in various technical and art activities
Build bridges between DCCs and the Engine
Implement data validation and explore new workflows enabled by the latest version of Unreal
Provide advice and support to different art teams (Environment, characters, VFX, lighting)
Understand common technical challenges and adapt your team to each project phase
Maintain a maintainable and readable technical work (code/node graphs)
Requirements
Some experience working in Games
Experience with Unreal Engine is preferable
Experience with optimization (shaders, materials, data) is preferable
Some experience with DCCs (Maya, Blender, Substance) and Profilers (Unreal Insight, Pix, renderdoc, etc) is a nice to have
Strong fundamental skills like color theory, timing, composition, balance, and secondary action
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with a diverse group of artists, designers, and animators
