About the role
- Senior Business Systems Analyst managing system solutions for Invest Ottawa. Analyzing, designing, and implementing digital workflows and technical solutions for Operations department.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Innovation & AI Senior Project Manager to translate business requirements.
- Lead workshops, discovery sessions, and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Own end-to-end delivery of system initiatives.
- Serve as the technical lead and escalation point for complex system issues.
- Design, build, and maintain solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM and Power Platform.
- Debug and optimize complex automations and integrations.
- Establish and enforce standards for documentation, testing, and delivery.
- Contribute actively to IT and Systems strategy discussions.
- Build trusted relationships with business unit leads and department heads.
- Mentor and coach junior/intermediate analysts.
- Develop dashboards and reporting within existing platforms.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience in business systems analysis, solutions design, or a technically deep implementation role.
- Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM.
- Demonstrated experience building Power Automate flows.
- Experience in Power Apps.
- Experience with JavaScript for Dynamics 365 client-side scripting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to lead delivery of system improvement projects.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled workflow tools.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration functions.
- Experience with SharePoint site design.
- Exposure to API integrations.
- Microsoft certifications in Power Platform, Dynamics 365, or related technologies are an asset.
