About the role

  • Project Coordinator supporting capital projects and operational initiatives in a hybrid setting. Collaborating with internal teams, vendors, and contractors in real estate and construction.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and track capital projects, renovations, and building initiatives in the Aurora office and assist at other locations
  • Assist in coordinating with both internal teams and external vendors including engineers, architects, HVAC specialists, and building system consultants
  • Assist in the preparation and issuance of RFPs (Requests for Proposals)
  • Provide coordination support for tenant improvements and base building renovations
  • Assist with scheduling, site coordination, and issue tracking during project execution
  • Assist in coordinating energy efficiency and building decarbonization initiatives
  • Provide coordination support during building incidents and emergency situations
  • Assist in maintaining and updating emergency preparedness plans and documentation
  • Maintain organized project records, including contracts, drawings, permits, and reports
  • Assist in tracking permits, inspections, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or in a related field
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience in project coordination, real estate, construction, or facilities management
  • Experience with project tracking tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet) and CADD
  • Advanced proficiency using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Knowledge of construction or building systems is an asset
