About the role
- Claims Analyst providing settlement opinions and coaching advisors in a remote work setting. Ensuring compliance with claims policies and helping resolve claims issues effectively.
Responsibilities
- Help review claims and issue claims settlement directives
- Provide settlement opinions for medium- to high-complexity claims
- Coach internal advisors to develop their technical skills
- Provide contract enforcement advice, verify settlement costs and ensure compliance with claims policies
- Revise independent adjuster claims
- Conduct research and serve as resource person, proposing solutions to conflicts and situations outside the expert’s scope of authority
- Help prepare action plans based on claims reviews
- Verify and approve claims settlements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience
