Payroll Manager responsible for leading payroll operations for North America and EMEA. Optimize Dayforce ecosystem and ensure compliance while managing complex payroll tasks.
Responsibilities
Lead high-velocity payroll operations across the US and Canada while providing expert validation and support for our EMEA team cycles.
Act as the primary visionary for Dayforce, driving the implementation and continuous improvement of payroll solutions across multiple global regions.
Oversee complex deductions, coordinate with ESPP and retirement providers, and manage the precision of involuntary termination data in partnership with Legal.
Partner closely with Finance for monthly closings and audits, delivering granular reporting and insights needed to keep the business agile.
Serve as the ultimate escalation point for payroll inquiries, solving complex puzzles for our employees with a focus on empathy and speed.
Develop and maintain robust payroll documentation and policies, ensuring we stay ahead of evolving regulations and annual tax requirements.
Identify bottlenecks and implement high-impact programs that improve employee engagement and awareness of local labor regulations.
Requirements
6+ years of payroll mastery, including at least 2 years of experience leading a team to success in a fast-paced environment.
Advanced proficiency in Dayforce (or similar top-tier HRIS) and can manipulate data in Excel or Google Sheets like a pro.
Encyclopedic understanding of North American employment laws and a proven track record of navigating complex tax landscapes.
Demonstrated relentless drive for process optimization and operational efficiency.
Ability to translate complex payroll concepts into clear, supportive guidance for a diverse, international workforce.
Manage sensitive data with the utmost discretion and maintain a high-accuracy standard even when the pace accelerates.
