About the role
- Program Manager leading IT initiatives to support the College of Early Childhood Educators. Collaborating across teams to ensure successful project delivery and technology implementation.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the designated business portfolio
- Collaborate with invested business parties to meet both business needs and regulatory requirements
- Work closely with internal teams, vendor/contractors
- Manage and oversee a variety of operational projects
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure projects are aligned with strategic business priorities
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time
- Develop detailed project plans, allocate resources effectively, and manage project risks
- Maintain regular communication and provide leadership to project team members, impacted team members, senior and executive leadership, and cross-functional teams
- Deliver clear and concise reports on project progress, KPIs, and financials
- Proactively identify potential risks, dependencies, and issues, and develop mitigation strategies
- Monitor program and project budgets
- Ensure the efficient allocation of personnel and technology resources across projects
- Evaluate and continuously improve the Case Management portfolio and software.
- Keep up to date with applicable legislation, trends and practices.
Requirements
- Four-year bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Certification in Project Management (PMP) or Agile methodologies (Certified ScrumMaster, Certified Scrum Product Owner, Agile Certified Practitioner)
- 5-7 years of experience managing IT programs, specifically in the context of case management systems and membership management systems, operational IT projects, or business process automation
- Strong understanding of enterprise software, and relevant technologies (e.g., CRM, ERP, document management, workflow automation)
- Proven experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid), including managing complex multi-faceted projects
- Strong background in IT infrastructure and cloud technologies, with hands-on experience integrating enterprise applications (e.g., CaseIQ, iMIS)
- Expertise in project management tools (e.g., Monday.com)
- Experience with ticketing software (e.g., ServiceNow, Zendesk, or similar)
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance and data privacy standards (e.g., PIPEDA, HIPAA, GDPR)
- Strong background in IT operations management with a focus on improving process efficiency and implementing scalable solutions.
