About the role

  • Program Manager leading IT initiatives to support the College of Early Childhood Educators. Collaborating across teams to ensure successful project delivery and technology implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the designated business portfolio
  • Collaborate with invested business parties to meet both business needs and regulatory requirements
  • Work closely with internal teams, vendor/contractors
  • Manage and oversee a variety of operational projects
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure projects are aligned with strategic business priorities
  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time
  • Develop detailed project plans, allocate resources effectively, and manage project risks
  • Maintain regular communication and provide leadership to project team members, impacted team members, senior and executive leadership, and cross-functional teams
  • Deliver clear and concise reports on project progress, KPIs, and financials
  • Proactively identify potential risks, dependencies, and issues, and develop mitigation strategies
  • Monitor program and project budgets
  • Ensure the efficient allocation of personnel and technology resources across projects
  • Evaluate and continuously improve the Case Management portfolio and software.
  • Keep up to date with applicable legislation, trends and practices.

Requirements

  • Four-year bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Certification in Project Management (PMP) or Agile methodologies (Certified ScrumMaster, Certified Scrum Product Owner, Agile Certified Practitioner)
  • 5-7 years of experience managing IT programs, specifically in the context of case management systems and membership management systems, operational IT projects, or business process automation
  • Strong understanding of enterprise software, and relevant technologies (e.g., CRM, ERP, document management, workflow automation)
  • Proven experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid), including managing complex multi-faceted projects
  • Strong background in IT infrastructure and cloud technologies, with hands-on experience integrating enterprise applications (e.g., CaseIQ, iMIS)
  • Expertise in project management tools (e.g., Monday.com)
  • Experience with ticketing software (e.g., ServiceNow, Zendesk, or similar)
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance and data privacy standards (e.g., PIPEDA, HIPAA, GDPR)
  • Strong background in IT operations management with a focus on improving process efficiency and implementing scalable solutions.
