Project Coordinator overseeing migration of membership management system for the College of Early Childhood Educators. Supporting a lean internal team through project phases and facilitating communication.
Responsibilities
Provide project management support for assigned iMIS/EMS project tasks through various phases
Coordinate/schedule meetings including minute taking and record keeping
Track, monitor and update schedules, tasks and project plans
Gather information to inform development of project plans, schedules, and monitoring tools to identify dependencies
Proactively work with teams to ensure deadlines and deliverables are met
Participate collaboratively in meetings
Generate and maintain project artifacts and other relevant project documentation
Create presentations and reports to update the team
Generate/update functional requirement documents in consultation with the project team and contributors
Support departments during each phase of assigned projects
Support development of training tools and content for staff
Provide input into various aspects of plans during each phase of the project
Requirements
College diploma or university degree in a technology, and/or project management program, or similar
3 to 5 years’ experience in a software development/support environment
Previous experience coordinating or managing projects
Familiarity with traditional, Agile, Scrum or Lean methodologies
Familiarity with Client/Membership Databases
Judgement and analytical skills to identify and scope issues, conduct research, and formulate/analyze options
Demonstrated competency generating technical documents and artifacts
Flexibility to work well independently and in a team environment with changing priorities.
Written communication skills to generate management reports
Listening, verbal communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills to develop effective training and communications with the College
Time management and prioritization skills to adhere to project deliverables and deadlines
Resilience, tact, diplomacy, and change management to support the transition from legacy solutions to new implementations
Knowledge of SharePoint, Azure, Windows 10, and Microsoft 365 (M365) technologies
Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and project management platforms
