Field Service Technician II providing technical service and support for energy systems. Responsible for installations, maintenance, and customer relationships at client sites.
Responsibilities
Travel to customer sites to perform basic installation, preventative maintenance, and basic repair of battery equipment
Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime
Troubleshoot and diagnose common technical issues, replace defective parts, and reassemble equipment
Provide on-site technical assistance and training to customers on the safe operation of their equipment
Build and maintain strong customer relationships by providing timely, efficient, and professional service
Effectively communicate with customers to understand their needs, explain technical details, and resolve concerns
Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including OSHA, DOT Hazmat, and ISO9000 standards
Maintain accurate records of service calls, maintenance activities, and customer interactions
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
A passing score of 70% or higher on our Field Service Tech assessment
1 ½+ years of experience in field service or a related role, preferably in the electrical field
Basic mechanical aptitude and experience working with hand and power tools
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, such as schematics and manuals
Basic electrical understanding and experience with test equipment is a plus
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks, such as bending, stooping, and kneeling
