Hiring Field Sales Specialists (Insurance) across GTA and Southwestern Ontario. $50K - $60K base + commission, competitive and outgoing candidates wanted.
About the role
- Field Service Technician providing advanced on-site support for EnerSys Energy Systems. Responsible for installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of complex equipment and systems.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert-level technical support to customers, including installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of complex battery equipment and power systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot intricate technical issues, utilizing your in-depth knowledge and advanced diagnostic tools
- Perform preventative maintenance, system upgrades, and performance optimization to ensure maximum uptime and reliability
- Proactively identify potential issues and implement preventative measures to avoid costly downtime
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing timely, efficient, and professional service
- Effectively communicate technical information to customers in a clear and understandable manner
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers, providing guidance and recommendations on best practices for equipment operation, maintenance, and safety
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including OSHA, DOT Hazmat, and ISO9000 standards
- Train and mentor junior technicians, sharing your expertise and knowledge to enhance their skills and development
Requirements
- Technical degree or equivalent certification in a relevant field (e.g., electrical engineering, electronics technology)
- 3+ years of proven experience as a Field Service Technician, demonstrating progressive responsibility and technical expertise in the battery and power systems industry
- In-depth knowledge of battery technologies, UPS systems, power distribution equipment, and related systems
- Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, including the ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
- Proficiency in using specialized tools and test equipment
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed
