About the role

  • Senior account and project manager delivering advertising campaigns for Funday, a full-service creative agency. Managing client relationships, budgets, timelines, creative reviews, and cross-functional project delivery from Toronto.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary contact between clients, the team, and vendors
  • Identify opportunities to meet client needs and solve problems
  • Build positive working relationships with key client teams
  • Understand and anticipate clients’ goals and competition
  • Manage issues professionally and find solutions and consensus
  • Ensure projects run and execute on time and within budget
  • Translate client needs into clear team direction
  • Scope, plan, cost, and schedule projects
  • Oversee project delivery and execution
  • Facilitate team communication and collaboration
  • Own, document, and disseminate meeting outcomes
  • Manage development priorities and timelines
  • Manage creative activities and client reviews
  • Communicate project status and risks to stakeholders
  • Identify, document, and communicate project issues and changes
  • Run assigned accounts and collaborate with creatives, strategists, and technologists

Requirements

  • Minimum 4–5 years of recent experience in a marketing/advertising agency environment required
  • 5–7 years of agency experience preferred
  • 6–8 years in an account management or project management role
  • At least 3 years of experience in a hybrid accounts and project management role
  • Proven ability to move between account and project management
  • Proven ability to grow client accounts
  • Inter-agency experience is an asset
  • Experience managing multiple clients and projects with heavily matrixed teams
  • Experience managing projects through the entire lifecycle, from planning to execution
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational and people management skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
  • Flexibility when faced with changing priorities or circumstances
  • Experience with project management and issue tracking tools
  • Experience with budgeting and resource management
  • Experience managing project teams, deliverables, timelines, and internal prioritization
  • Experience managing client conversations, including intake, briefing, long-term planning, and challenging conversations
  • Experience mentoring or managing junior team members
  • Must live in Canada, be able to work in Canada, and be located in Toronto, Ontario
