About the role

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for creating visually stunning motion graphics and special effects.
  • Creating short and long form animation, social first content, GIFs, and web animations that balance strong craft, clear storytelling, and business impact.
  • Play a crucial role in contributing to GALE’s media storytelling, process, and digital brand strategy.
  • Actively participate in the planning and storyboarding of motion/video projects.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience as a Motion Graphics Designer in a senior or lead role
  • Strong portfolio showcasing proficiency in creating captivating motion graphics
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software, such as Adobe After Effects, Figma, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop
  • Solid understanding of animation principles, composition, and visual storytelling
  • Strong knowledge of typography, color theory, and graphic design principles
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in an in-person and remote team environment
  • Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate with a team and clients
  • Attention to visual details
  • Ability to remain focused under pressure within a fast-paced environment
  • A love for learning new things and exploring new formats
  • Experience with video and image generative Ai
  • Nice to have: 3D Capabilities
  • Proven experience leading and supporting multidisciplinary midsize creative teams.
  • Ability to successfully collaborate across domains including strategy, media, brand, technology, and production to align creative output with business goals.
  • Experience scoping new work, providing accurate time and effort estimates.
