Responsibilities
- Responsible for creating visually stunning motion graphics and special effects.
- Creating short and long form animation, social first content, GIFs, and web animations that balance strong craft, clear storytelling, and business impact.
- Play a crucial role in contributing to GALE’s media storytelling, process, and digital brand strategy.
- Actively participate in the planning and storyboarding of motion/video projects.
Requirements
- Extensive experience as a Motion Graphics Designer in a senior or lead role
- Strong portfolio showcasing proficiency in creating captivating motion graphics
- Proficiency in industry-standard software, such as Adobe After Effects, Figma, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop
- Solid understanding of animation principles, composition, and visual storytelling
- Strong knowledge of typography, color theory, and graphic design principles
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in an in-person and remote team environment
- Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate with a team and clients
- Attention to visual details
- Ability to remain focused under pressure within a fast-paced environment
- A love for learning new things and exploring new formats
- Experience with video and image generative Ai
- Nice to have: 3D Capabilities
- Proven experience leading and supporting multidisciplinary midsize creative teams.
- Ability to successfully collaborate across domains including strategy, media, brand, technology, and production to align creative output with business goals.
- Experience scoping new work, providing accurate time and effort estimates.
