About the role
- Payroll & Benefits Specialist at GHY supporting payroll and benefits across Canada and the United States. Ensure compliance with payroll legislation and support year-end processes while enhancing efficiencies.
Responsibilities
- Process and support payroll across Canada and the United States (Payworks and BambooHR)
- Ensure payroll is accurate, timely, and compliant with all applicable legislation
- Respond to payroll inquiries with a high level of care and service
- Administer Canadian and U.S. benefits and retirement savings programs
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and accuracy
- Maintain accurate, confidential employee records
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in payroll and benefits administration
- Experience supporting both Canadian and U.S. payroll (strongly preferred)
- Solid understanding of Canadian payroll legislation (U.S. exposure is an asset)
- Experience with Payworks, BambooHR, or similar systems
- PCP designation (or in progress) is an asset
