About the role

  • Payroll & Benefits Specialist at GHY supporting payroll and benefits across Canada and the United States. Ensure compliance with payroll legislation and support year-end processes while enhancing efficiencies.

Responsibilities

  • Process and support payroll across Canada and the United States (Payworks and BambooHR)
  • Ensure payroll is accurate, timely, and compliant with all applicable legislation
  • Respond to payroll inquiries with a high level of care and service
  • Administer Canadian and U.S. benefits and retirement savings programs
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and accuracy
  • Maintain accurate, confidential employee records

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in payroll and benefits administration
  • Experience supporting both Canadian and U.S. payroll (strongly preferred)
  • Solid understanding of Canadian payroll legislation (U.S. exposure is an asset)
  • Experience with Payworks, BambooHR, or similar systems
  • PCP designation (or in progress) is an asset
