About the role

  • Payroll Analyst performing analysis, execution, and support of payroll operations at GSK. Ensuring accurate processing and compliance in Canadian payroll matters.

Responsibilities

  • Perform tasks related to analysis, execution, and support of payroll operations
  • Monitor and validate employee time entries in Workday
  • Identify and correct discrepancies in time entry
  • Conduct recurring audits and controls to identify time-related risks
  • Collaborate with managers and HR for payroll cutoffs
  • Reconcile hours worked and paid time off before payroll run
  • Respond to inquiries regarding time entry and payroll corrections
  • Generate weekly and monthly reports

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of payroll-related experience
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) is preferred
  • Basic understanding of payroll processes, procedures, controls, regulations, and compliance
  • Proficient understanding of payroll transactions
  • Experience managing overpayments and collective agreements
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills in order to communicate with customers, peers, and vendors is required
  • Proficiency in French is desirable
