About the role

  • Payroll Analyst ensuring accurate payroll processing and time tracking for hourly employees at GSK. Maintaining compliance, support, and audits of payroll related operations.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and validate employee time entries in Workday to ensure accuracy and compliance with payroll deadlines
  • Follow up with employees or managers to correct time entry errors before payroll cutoff
  • Conduct recurring audits and controls to proactively identify and resolve time-related risks
  • Reconcile hours worked, paid time off (PTO), and unpaid leave entries prior to payroll run
  • Respond to inquiries about time entry, pay codes, or corrections
  • Generate reports and maintain accurate records for payroll audits and compliance reviews

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of payroll-related experience
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) preferred
  • Basic understanding of payroll processes, procedures, controls, regulations, and compliance
  • Demonstrated proficient understanding of payroll transactions related to benefits administration, leave administration, equity compensation, and savings plans
  • Experience managing overpayments and collective agreements
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers, peers, and vendors
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Proficiency in French desirable
