About the role

  • SAP PP Manufacturing Architect at Syntax driving SAP solutions in Life Science and Medical Devices sectors. Overseeing implementation projects and supporting business development activities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of SAP solutions tailored for the Life Science and Medical Devices industries.
  • Act as Integration Architect, directing teams of business analysts, functional consultants, and developers through all project phases including analysis, design, configuration, testing, and production cutover.
  • Manage advisory consultants in the selection of appropriate solutions and tools, ensuring adherence to business scope and integration points.
  • Support sales and presales activities by contributing to market strategies and client engagements.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and integration within SAP landscapes, ensuring cost-effective and scalable solutions.
  • Facilitate workshops to address functional gaps and validate proposed solutions, supporting agile sprints and content validation.
  • Develop business cases for investment in SAP solutions, presenting findings to decision-making committees.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business and architectural strategies while communicating risks and challenges effectively.
  • Lead pre-sales cycles, including customer presentations, proposal reviews, and site surveys to drive new business opportunities.
  • Engage in continuous improvement and stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in Life Science and Medical Devices.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Software Engineering.
  • At least 15 years of experience in SAP implementations, specifically within the Manufacturing sector focusing on Life Science and Medical Devices.
  • Strong expertise in SAP modules: PP, QM, MM, SD, and familiarity with Supply Chain, PM, and FICO.
  • Proven track record in pre-sales activities and project management.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both French and English.
