About the role

  • Software Engineer at Lime focusing on Payments and Fraud. Collaborating to deliver payment experience and prevent abuse in a micromobility platform.

Responsibilities

  • You’ll ship complex and detail-focused projects by collaborating with fellow Engineers, Product Managers, Designers, Data Scientists, and representatives from Support and Finance.
  • Build features at scale, shipping robust platforms that process millions of transactions.
  • Understand our customers’ success and the health of our systems through monitoring and data analytics.
  • Engage with world-class infrastructure and experiment with modern AI tools to multiply engineering effectiveness.
  • Grow via mentorship, collaboration, and learning activities.
  • Participate in the shaping of Lime's Engineering culture.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional software development experience, and a track record of building impactful products or systems.
  • Owner's mindset: you're focused on outcomes and can solve problems to get there.
  • Data driven: You instrument your work for decision making, you can reason through data to learn from our customers.
  • Excellent communication skills and effective management of competing priorities.
  • Learning focused: you’re eager to grow your skills and curious about how AI development tools can improve our effectiveness.
  • Preferred Experience:
  • You have experience in payment processing, accounting, fraud, or business operations.
  • You’re enthusiastic about Lime's mission and micromobility; you want to see cities transform to become people-centric and less polluted.
