About the role

  • Senior Project Manager leading electrical engineering scopes for new nuclear projects across Canada and globally. Managing lifecycle of electrical systems and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex electrical engineering scopes within new nuclear projects.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, integration, and delivery of electrical systems.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of electrical project scopes from conceptual design through turnover.
  • Coordinate internal electrical engineering teams, cross-functional disciplines, clients, utilities, and external vendors.
  • Proactively manage technical risks and ensure alignment across stakeholders.
  • Engage engineering teams with construction teams to plan site demolition and preparation activities.
  • Ensure seamless coordination between electrical systems and other disciplines.
  • Support innovative electrical design approaches and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Manage relationships with utilities, OEMs, EPC partners, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
  • Provide leadership through installation, testing, energization, and commissioning phases.

Requirements

  • Strong background in power systems, nuclear or large industrial electrical design, and system integration within complex infrastructure environments.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams and managing electrical scopes through full lifecycle delivery in regulated industries.
  • You take ownership of scope, schedule, and budget performance, driving teams toward measurable outcomes.
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity, evolving regulatory requirements, and first-of-a-kind project challenges.
  • Ability to anticipate integration, constructability, procurement, and commissioning risks before they impact delivery.
  • You model accountability, collaboration, mentorship, and innovation, strengthening team culture while delivering technical excellence.
  • You are able to interface with a wide range of stakeholders inside nuclear and beyond to municipalities, other corporations, and government bodies.
