About the role

  • Coordinator managing dealer relations for the automotive remarketing industry. Supporting sales team and improving customer experience with operational oversight and project management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage key accounts and projects: Oversee day-to-day project operations and manage VIP dealer accounts to ensure they meet performance targets.
  • Coordinate auction logistics: Manage tasks related to auction days by assisting with lane setup, vehicle tagging, and run number reservations.
  • Support sales and financial processes: Help resolve “If Bids” quickly, facilitate the delivery of checks to sellers, and ensure reserve prices and disclosures are accurate.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Serve as a liaison across departments, working with the sales team to market inventory and with dealer registration to facilitate onboarding and account updates.
  • Provide strategic insights: Monitor on-site inventory to make sales/disposition recommendations, track local competition to suggest competitive strategies, and provide feedback to management to improve the customer experience.
  • Perform administrative duties: Complete clerical and digital data-entry tasks. Use OPENLANE’s CRM to log calls, generate reports, and train customers on our systems.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2–3 years of relevant experience in a customer service or administrative support role
  • Comfortable with technology and proficient in Google Suite
  • Excellent interpersonal skills: effective communication, enthusiasm, persuasiveness, and strong people skills
  • Prior experience in automotive remarketing
  • Experience with sales management and tracking tools (CRM), particularly Salesforce, with strong attention to data accuracy
  • Familiarity with AMS, VTrace, and other OPENLANE-specific platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to learn, retain, and clearly explain technical product information
  • Bilingual (French and English): this role requires regular interactions with clients, managers, and colleagues in Quebec, other provinces, or internationally who may not speak French
