Responsibilities
Lead and advise on HRPD programs, policies, practices, and compliance for assigned client groups
Develop and execute recruitment plans with appropriate sourcing strategies
Participate in district HRPD planning and lead the development, execution, and evaluation of assigned district-level projects and initiatives
Provide guidance, coaching, and training on career management
Guide and coach supervisors on employee relations, compensation, recruitment, performance improvement, workforce planning, and training programs
Assist with local market research and analysis for annual compensation reviews
Own the salary and bonus review calibration process for client groups
Develop and maintain customer-focused relationships with district stakeholders
Oversee the student program strategy and maintain strategic relationships with academic institutions
Requirements
Postsecondary diploma or degree in human resources or a related discipline preferred
Working towards an HR designation preferred
5 years of progressive human resources experience preferred
Ability to tactfully and diplomatically deal with people and act with discretion when handling confidential information
Ability to research and analyze information and data and make recommendations
Ability to work independently or in a team environment in a highly matrixed organization
Ability to mentor and coach entry-level human resources professionals
Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and present ideas and content that influence a favorable outcome
Strong networking skills with the ability to develop and maintain HR networks
Demonstrated critical-thinking skills
