About the role

  • Marketing Specialist driving B2B content, social, SEO, and lead-generation campaigns for Postmedia, a Canadian news media company. Supporting SMB and agency sales priorities across digital channels.

Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of marketing strategies for Postmedia’s SMB and National Agency business
  • Distribute content across Postmedia websites, social media platforms, newsletters, and other owned channels
  • Transform blog posts and long-form content into social posts, short-form copy, infographics, downloadable assets, email content, and promotional materials
  • Develop and manage social media strategy and posting schedules
  • Create and publish social media content supporting awareness, engagement, lead generation, and sales enablement
  • Build lead magnets such as guides, checklists, tip sheets, one-pagers, and other downloadable resources
  • Create and update website pages and landing pages for marketing campaigns, product priorities, and sales initiatives
  • Optimize website and landing page content for clarity, accuracy, and conversion
  • Partner with Sales to understand campaign needs, client priorities, and market opportunities
  • Apply SEO/AEO/GEO best practices to website, landing page, and campaign content
  • Support content calendars and ensure marketing content is on brand and appropriate for target audiences
  • Track, measure, and report campaign, content, website, landing page, and social media performance
  • Identify opportunities to improve content distribution, audience engagement, and lead generation
  • Work within HubSpot, SEMRush, social publishing tools, and WordPress

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience in marketing, digital marketing, social media, content marketing, or a related field
  • Experience supporting B2B marketing campaigns, preferably in media, advertising, digital marketing, or agency environments
  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and content adaptation skills
  • Experience creating social media content and managing social posting schedules
  • Experience building or supporting website pages, landing pages, lead magnets, and digital campaign assets
  • Ability to turn long-form content into multiple short-form assets for different channels and audiences
  • Self-starter attitude with excellent time management and project prioritization skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable working with creative, sales, and cross-functional teams
  • Customer-centric with a solid understanding of analytics and campaign performance
  • Ability to work with AI platforms and marketing technology tools
