About the role

  • Deals Manager advising clients on infrastructure and project finance at PwC Canada. Building financial models, analyzing markets, and leading advisory engagements and business development.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute infrastructure and project finance advisory engagements across a variety of asset types
  • Develop, review, and oversee complex financial models supporting project financing and funding analyses
  • Perform financial, commercial, and market analyses related to infrastructure and project finance
  • Stay current on developments in the Canadian infrastructure market and identify advisory opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted advisor
  • Train, coach, and review work completed by Associates and Senior Associates across multiple engagements
  • Contribute to preparation and review of client reports, deliverables, and information memorandums
  • Lead business development efforts, including proposals, pitch decks, and marketing materials
  • Work collaboratively across teams in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment

Requirements

  • Strong finance background with experience in project finance and/or infrastructure advisory or investing
  • Experience in consulting, lending, sponsorship, development, investment, or government agency environments is considered an asset
  • Proven financial modeling expertise, including development and review of infrastructure project models
  • Experience with financial forecasting and cash-flow analysis
  • Experience working broadly in infrastructure; sector-specific experience is an asset but not required
  • CPA, CFA, CBV, or similar financial designation and/or a post-graduate degree preferred but not required
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg, Capital IQ, or similar platforms is an asset
  • Ability to work independently and confidently in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
  • Openness to learning new tools and approaches, including emerging digital and analytics capabilities
  • Strong communication skills and ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate with diverse teams
  • No work visa sponsorship available
  • Government clearance is not required
