Deals Manager advising clients on infrastructure and project finance at PwC Canada. Building financial models, analyzing markets, and leading advisory engagements and business development.
Responsibilities
Lead and execute infrastructure and project finance advisory engagements across a variety of asset types
Develop, review, and oversee complex financial models supporting project financing and funding analyses
Perform financial, commercial, and market analyses related to infrastructure and project finance
Stay current on developments in the Canadian infrastructure market and identify advisory opportunities
Build and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted advisor
Train, coach, and review work completed by Associates and Senior Associates across multiple engagements
Contribute to preparation and review of client reports, deliverables, and information memorandums
Lead business development efforts, including proposals, pitch decks, and marketing materials
Work collaboratively across teams in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment
Requirements
Strong finance background with experience in project finance and/or infrastructure advisory or investing
Experience in consulting, lending, sponsorship, development, investment, or government agency environments is considered an asset
Proven financial modeling expertise, including development and review of infrastructure project models
Experience with financial forecasting and cash-flow analysis
Experience working broadly in infrastructure; sector-specific experience is an asset but not required
CPA, CFA, CBV, or similar financial designation and/or a post-graduate degree preferred but not required
Familiarity with Bloomberg, Capital IQ, or similar platforms is an asset
Ability to work independently and confidently in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
Openness to learning new tools and approaches, including emerging digital and analytics capabilities
Strong communication skills and ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate with diverse teams
