About the role

  • PwC Canada Senior Manager guiding HR integration, separation, and workforce strategy for complex transactions. Advising executives and leading teams across the full deal lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on people and organizational complexities associated with mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, carve-outs, and business transformations
  • Design and implement workforce, organization, and HR function strategies
  • Support successful integrations and separations while enabling business continuity, employee engagement, and long-term value creation
  • Conduct HR integration and separation
  • Design HR operating models and organizations
  • Develop talent retention strategies
  • Lead change management and communication
  • Support culture integration and HR due diligence
  • Assess workforce synergies and cost optimization opportunities
  • Partner with PwC Deals competencies across the full deal lifecycle
  • Build and manage strategic client relationships
  • Lead business development, proposal development, and pursuit support
  • Lead teams through complex engagements and manage multiple concurrent project lifecycles

Requirements

  • Experience advising senior leadership teams on the people implications of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, carve-outs, integrations, separations, and business transformations
  • Experience leading HR due diligence, HR integration, separation, and workforce transition initiatives across complex transactions
  • Experience developing talent retention strategies, leadership continuity plans, employee communications, and change management programs
  • Extensive ability to build and manage strategic client relationships while delivering high-quality outcomes across multiple engagements
  • Ability to function as a trusted advisor to executive leadership teams on people, workforce, and organizational matters
  • Experience managing quantitative and qualitative analyses to assess workforce-related risks, opportunities, synergies, and value creation initiatives
  • Ability to lead business development activities, including client relationship building, proposal development, and pursuit support
  • Success leading teams through complex engagements and managing the full project lifecycle across multiple concurrent projects
  • Commitment to valuing differences, developing and coaching diverse teams, and ensuring diverse perspectives are heard
  • Ability and willingness to travel within Canada and internationally
  • Work visa sponsorship is not available
