About the role

  • Schaeffler automotive and aerospace technology intern supporting recruitment, employee training, and digital learning. Maintaining SuccessFactors data, eLearning content, and Interactive Production Guides in Stratford.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the point person for full-cycle recruitment needs of hourly and student employees
  • Partner with production leadership to develop, maintain, and report on technical training matrices, OJT documentation, and employee qualification records
  • Support development and deployment of digital learning solutions, including eLearning content creation
  • Administer, report on, and maintain the SuccessFactors Learning Management System, including course assignments, learning records, and training analytics
  • Develop and continuously improve Interactive Production Guides for onboarding, job instruction, standard work, and employee development
  • Collaborate with Schaeffler Academy and Learning & Talent Management teams on training initiatives, digital learning projects, and workforce development programs
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of employee and training data within SAP/SuccessFactors
  • Support day-to-day HR processes, including triage of employee concerns, password resets, and updating employee information

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a post-secondary program in Human Resources, Adult Education, Business, Organizational Development, or a related field
  • CHRP or CTDP designation is considered an asset
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • Experience with Articulate 360, Camtasia, video editing, instructional design, or eLearning development is considered an asset
  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors LMS or other learning management systems is an asset
  • Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
  • Reliable transportation is preferred
  • Must be within commuting distance of Kitchener-Waterloo and/or London area
  • Successful Aerospace division applicants must be eligible to meet Canadian Controlled Goods Program requirements and maintain a positive Controlled Goods Security Assessment or Temporary Worker Exemption
