Responsibilities
- Manage environmental liabilities and deliver site assessment, remediation, and monitoring projects
- Develop risk management strategies to reduce soil and groundwater liability
- Lead and implement country-wide HSSE initiatives
- Manage financial approvals and spend with environmental consultants
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders
Requirements
- Engineering/Science Degree, preferably in geology/hydrogeology/engineering discipline
- 6 or more years of experience in environmental project management, site assessment, remediation, and risk and liability management
- Experience working across multiple western Canadian regulatory jurisdictions
- Proven record of contract management experience
- Understanding of HSSE risks and mitigations
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills
- Fluency in English with excellent oral and written communication skills.
