About the role

  • Membership Marketing Lead growing Women Leading Travel, Skift's executive travel and hospitality network. Building acquisition, retention, lifecycle marketing, events, and CRM analytics programs.

Responsibilities

  • Own WLT's worldwide membership marketing strategy and build multi-channel campaigns across email, social, and partnerships
  • Design and refine lead nurture flows and test messaging, cadence, and offers to improve conversion
  • Monitor and report on conversion, opens, renewals, and other core metrics
  • Manage the full member lifecycle from application and onboarding through engagement and renewal
  • Run recruitment campaigns and maintain a forward-looking retention calendar
  • Draft monthly member communications and partner updates
  • Build WLT's recruitment and retention messaging playbook across email, landing pages, and ROI reporting
  • Run the Member Ambassador Program and regional meetups, including venue coordination
  • Maintain CRM dashboards for pipeline and retention visibility
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners on program execution

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in membership, community management, marketing, or client success
  • Experience ideally in media, associations, or events
  • Track record of designing and running marketing campaigns with measurable acquisition and retention results
  • Strong writing skills, including persuasive outreach emails, value propositions, and effective subject lines
  • Hands-on experience with CRM tools; HubSpot preferred
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms and building nurture sequences or conversion funnels
  • Comfort pulling reports, spotting trends, and turning data into next steps
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple campaigns, regional events, and outreach cycles
  • Self-directed approach and ability to independently own high-visibility programs
  • Comfort working in a remote, async-first environment
