About the role
- Deal Desk supervisor leading vendor registrations, pricing enablement, and profitability initiatives. Supporting Softchoice’s IT solutions sales organization through training, analytics, and automation.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of subject matter experts on select Vendor Deal Registration and pricing programs
- Ensure Deal Registration and Special Cost cases are actioned timely while maximizing profitability
- Oversee daily operations, including case queue management, discount attainment, protected margin calculations, and vendor Deal Registration training
- Coach team members through one-on-ones using the Softchoice coaching model and sponsor development
- Establish team metrics, internal SLAs, KPIs, and goals aligned with strategic priorities
- Expand vendor specialization and support relationships with BD VSS teams
- Present to BD VSS teams on the Deal Desk function and protected margin guidance
- Manage enrollment and delivery of Pricing Training across the Sales organization
- Create and manage the sales pricing enablement content repository
- Analyze and deliver information to Sales on Vendor Special Pricing utilization and Deal Registration performance
- Implement new tools and processes using AI and automation to improve Sales and Pricing organization efficiency
Requirements
- 5+ years of business experience, with a strong preference for experience in a technology company, reseller or distributor, or experience in Sales
- 2+ years of professional leadership experience
- Expertise in Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
- Salesforce or SAP experience would be a bonus
- Demonstrated desire to serve internal customers while driving profitability
- Ability to identify issues, requirements, and opportunities for improvement
- Detail-oriented, positive attitude, and collaborative
