About the role

  • Senior Analyst managing credit ratings and analysis for infrastructure projects at S&P Global. Leading financial assessments and guiding junior analysts for robust decision-making processes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day guidance/coaching to Research Assistants and Rating Analysts, building capability in credit, data discipline, and tooling and reinforcing values-led behaviors.
  • Drive consistency/scalability by codifying standard work and promoting disciplined adoption to strengthen trusted, repeatable insights.
  • Strengthen AI-enabled productivity by creating reusable assets and proposing lightweight automations that free capacity for human analysis and relationship work.
  • Foster continuous improvement by proposing enhancements that remove manual steps without compromising governance or judgement.
  • Lead end-to-end execution for assigned credits, ensuring high-quality analysis and timely delivery across priorities with clear accountability.

Requirements

  • Three to five years of experience in project finance and/or infrastructure finance (ratings, banking, advisory, investing, or credit) strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure project structures and documentation (e.g., concession/PPP agreements, EPC and O&M contracts, offtake or availability-payment frameworks, financing terms).
  • Strong financial analysis skills, including cash flow modeling /interpretation, ratio and covenant analysis, and accounting fundamentals.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required. A master’s degree or professional certification (such as CFA) is highly valued.
