Provide administrative support for payroll and benefits at TRIUMF, Canada’s national laboratory for particle and nuclear physics. Handle payroll data, benefits administration, and communication with employees.
Responsibilities
Responsible for administrative duties for day-to-day payroll and benefits administration
Organizing payroll reports and timesheet records on SharePoint
Liaise with general questions regarding time tracking, payroll, and benefits offered by the organization
Administrative duties include generating payroll data maintenance, reviewing payroll data for discrepancies
General employee and retiree benefits administration
Labeling historical payroll and benefits admin files
Reconcile ad-hoc payroll & benefit reports for internal audit
Requirements
Working towards a business administration degree/diploma is an asset
Intermediate/advanced in MS Office suite
Good communication skills
Some knowledge of payroll or financial/management accounting knowledge considered an asset but not required
Experience using ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) is an asset but not a requirement.
Canadian Citizen or PR, and currently enrolled in school.
