Responsibilities
Strengthen controls of payroll processes, including reviewing and signing off on entity-based biweekly reasonability tests.
Maintain hourly controls to detect data input and system errors, building additional controls as needed.
Lead ADP implementation project, business initiatives, and other ad hoc tasks as required.
Establish and monitor team performance by developing goals, assigning accountabilities, and reporting on performance.
Identify opportunities within the organization to strengthen the business and improve operational systems, processes, and policies.
Deliver and enforce strong internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in payroll and accounting, with a demonstrated career progression into leadership roles.
Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) and Payroll Leadership Professional (PLP) designations are considered an asset.
Previous experience in banking and treasury functions.
Proven track record in accounting-related projects.
Familiarity with Shared Services structure and experience with high-volume invoicing.
Experience in ADP is a must.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in business software applications.
Knowledge of QuickBooks is considered a major asset.
