About the role
- Inside Sales Representative supporting Umicore’s precious-metals and recycling business. Developing customers, processing SAP orders, and resolving client inquiries.
Responsibilities
- Research sources for developing prospective customers and determine their potential
- Make cold calls to new and inactive customers
- Keep customers informed of new products and services at UPMC
- Support and respond to customer inquiries by email or phone
- Expedite resolution of customer problems and complaints
- Mail customer information booklets
- Take and enter orders in SAP
- Provide proposals and quotes for current and prospective customers
- Stay informed about current markets
- Support Customer Service representatives
- Record and update the customer database with all activities
- Provide weekly and monthly reports to management on sales activities, figures, and issues
- Assist in preparing marketing material and maintain the company website
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- College diploma in business, preferably marketing, administration or similar
- Previous Inside Sales experience
- Previous experience with a CRM system, preferably SAP
- Confidence speaking with customers on the phone
- Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving
- Results-oriented
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent research skills
- Motivated individual
- Advanced computer skills
- SAP experience is a strong asset
- Bilingual English/French is an asset
