About the role
- Property Claims Examiner Trainee offering claims services for Lloyd's of London and others. Participants engage with stakeholders, manage claims, and produce reports in a hybrid model.
Responsibilities
- Produce reports with occasional guidance from Manager
- Direct Field Adjusters on task assignment investigations
- Settle claims directly with Insureds or their representatives
- Administer claims payments/settlements through trust accounts
- Liaise with all stakeholders to ensure client's needs are met
- Report back to the syndicate or self-insured according to their guidelines
Requirements
- Demonstrated and proven track record of performance
- Strong technical skills
- Solid planner and organizer
- Understand key issues and provide solid solutions
- Motivated to work in this field
- Relevant post-secondary education is an asset
- Completed CIP courses or working towards CIP designation
- Ability to hold an independent adjusting license
- Exposure to the Lloyd's market is an asset
- Ability to work with technology
- Attention to detail and professional communication skills
