Employee Payroll Representative responsible for payroll activities for VON's non-union and unionized employees. Ensuring accuracy of employee records and responding to inquiries in a health services context.
Responsibilities
Responsible for overall employee life cycle transactional payroll activities
Ensures data integrity of VON employees
Supports the talent acquisition team in the hiring process
Issues letters to employees regarding changes in employment status
Works with Pension and Benefit team to ensure accurate actions
Responds to employee inquiries
Prepares reports including hours worked and payroll reconciliation
Completes audits on team actions
Assists in business testing for configuration changes
Monitors late time sheet reports
Requirements
Degree or diploma in a relevant field
A minimum of 3 years relevant experience with HRIS and payroll systems
Experience working in a highly unionized environment
Strong organizational skills
Demonstrated customer service skills in conflict resolution, problem solving and critical thinking
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
High proficiency in Windows OS and Microsoft Office Suite software
Advanced data entry and keyboarding abilities
Strong commitment to confidentiality and discretion
