About the role
- Senior Payroll Operations Analyst supporting the execution of Canadian payroll and compliance. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing payroll-related inquiries.
Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and timely execution of Canadian payroll
- Work closely with Deel to ensure correct and on-time processing
- Ensure adherence to payroll schedules
- Handle payroll-related inquiries from employees
- Compile, analyze, and document payroll issues
- Collaborate closely with Legal, Finance, and HR teams
- Participate in internal payroll audits
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in Canadian payroll operations, with a proven ability to manage sensitive and confidential information
- Experience in shared services within a multi-unit organization is an asset
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
- Payroll Compliance Specialist (SCP) certification is a significant asset
- Bilingual in French and English required
- Experience with Workday HR, Deel, or other payroll SaaS tools
