About the role
- Senior Program Manager driving development and improvement of digital products at CNN. Collaborating with teams across Product, Design, Engineering, and organizational stakeholders for successful feature delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end technical program management for multiple products on CNN’s digital platforms.
- Develop and refine program roadmaps, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and user requirements.
- Coordinate with Product, Design, Engineering, QA, WBD shared services, and external partner teams to define requirements, manage dependencies, and deliver high-quality outcomes on schedule.
- Promote clear, consistent communication across all project stakeholders.
- Create comprehensive program plans, outlining scope, milestones, success metrics, and resource allocation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or field related to program management; Master’s degree a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in technology or digital media, including at least 3 years in a program management or technical project management role.
- Track record of delivering complex, cross-platform projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Competency in at least one modern industry-wide software framework such javascript, html/css, python, typescript, etc.
- Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies, with additional knowledge of traditional project management frameworks.
- Experience with industry standard project management software such as Jira, Confluence, Asana, etc.
