About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage payroll cycles for an expanding client portfolio, ensuring 100% compliance with federal, provincial, and local Canadian regulations.
  • Handle complex new-hire imports, timesheet uploads, adjustments, incentives, and voluntary deductions within the HRIS.
  • Review and calculate accurate pay changes for promotions, new hires, transfers, and final termination payouts.
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies, process off-cycle manual checks, and generate robust audit reports for clients.

Requirements

  • PCP or PLP certification required.
  • Fully bilingual — proficient in both French and English.
  • 5+ years of payroll processing experience, including handling multi-provincial Canadian payroll systems.
  • High attention to detail, strong Excel skills, and logical reasoning to manage tight weekly deadlines under pressure.
