About the role

  • Account Manager nurturing DoiT’s cloud-technology customer relationships across Canada. Driving retention, cloud optimization, vendor collaboration, and long-term account growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of DoiT’s business, cloud management platform, support, services, and customer needs
  • Maintain ownership and context of assigned customers and communicate with vendor teams about value and revenue-growth opportunities
  • Manage customer support escalations through resolution and ensure high customer satisfaction
  • Negotiate and close long-term commitments with key stakeholders
  • Identify new workload opportunities within customers’ cloud environments and SaaS solutions
  • Establish regular engagement with the customer portfolio while balancing strategic and emerging clients
  • Aggregate customer feedback to align products and solutions with customer needs
  • Provide customer feedback to engineering teams and help prioritize development deliverables
  • Deliver quarterly customer reviews covering project timelines, projected cloud-platform spending, and support and engagement feedback
  • Identify cost-optimization opportunities in customer cloud environments
  • Work with cloud-vendor sales representatives on mutual customers

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in an Account Management/Customer Success/Customer Engineering role
  • 3+ years experience at a technology company
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills
  • Strong technical skills enabling productive engagement with technical teams and influential relationship-building
  • Great operational/administration skills
  • Analytical and detail-oriented
  • Ability to zoom in/out from the big picture to minutiae
  • Desire to grow within the organization and continuously broaden skill sets
  • Experience with AWS, GCP, or other major public clouds (bonus)
  • Experience in the FinOps Ecosystem (bonus)
  • Cloud Certifications, such as AWS Cloud Practitioner or Google Cloud Digital Leader (bonus)
  • Additional languages (bonus)
