About the role

  • Talent Acquisition Partner leading high-volume manufacturing recruitment for G&W Electric, a global provider of engineered electrical power-grid solutions. Managing sourcing, interviews, offers, pipelines, and hiring metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with HR and hiring managers and own end-to-end recruitment delivery for hourly high-volume skilled and semi-skilled positions in a manufacturing environment
  • Anticipate workforce needs and execute localized hiring strategies reflecting regional labour market conditions and shift-based hiring
  • Recruit operators, assemblers, maintenance and trades, and salaried professionals in engineering, quality, supply chain, and plant leadership
  • Create recruiting plans for assigned plant positions, including advertising, sourcing, and selection strategies
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies using job boards, social media, networking, employee referrals, and professional associations
  • Build and maintain proactive talent pipelines and talent networks
  • Identify, attract, engage, and qualify candidates
  • Conduct behavioral and competency-based interviews
  • Manage high-volume recruitment while maintaining candidate experience and quality of hire
  • Partner with department leaders to understand role requirements, competencies, and team dynamics
  • Manage interviews, including scheduling, preparation, interviewing, feedback sessions, extending offers, and coordinating onboarding
  • Establish controls and measurements to evaluate recruiting plans
  • Enhance the employer brand among experienced and campus hires
  • Grow recruitment networking through professional groups, associations, community organizations, and industry contacts
  • Manage the applicant tracking database, job boards, career sites, and talent acquisition metrics
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal and local employment laws
  • Support employee engagement and talent development activities, including developing self-directed learning content via BizLibrary
  • Maintain accurate recruitment metrics and candidate tracking through the ATS
  • Monitor industry trends, salary benchmarks, and recruitment best practices
  • Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives through proactive outreach and inclusive hiring practices

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3–5 years of progressive full lifecycle recruiting experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or high-volume environment
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed
  • Integrity, professionalism, and ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Strong interviewing, assessment, and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in social media recruiting methods
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building abilities
  • Ability to work closely with operations leaders in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to foster relationships with employees at all levels
  • Knowledge of employment legislation and hiring best practices
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
