About the role

  • Sales Development Analyst supporting DNA Genotek’s genomic sample products and eCommerce growth. Managing lead qualification, CRM data quality, prospect engagement, and customer onboarding across sales and marketing operations.

Responsibilities

  • Review, qualify, prioritize, and route marketing-generated leads according to qualification criteria, sales coverage, and follow-up expectations
  • Conduct prospect and account research
  • Support strategic outbound campaigns, product launches, and follow-up with webinar, tradeshow, and campaign responders
  • Maintain CRM hygiene and data quality for lead, contact, account, activity, and onboarding information
  • Identify CRM duplicates and data inconsistencies and support account/contact data cleanup
  • Assist with reporting and data validation supporting sales execution
  • Monitor lead progression and sales engagement activity to identify routing issues, ownership discrepancies, stalled opportunities, and follow-up gaps
  • Partner with Account Managers, Business Development, Sales Management, Marketing Operations, and other stakeholders to route opportunities and resolve process issues
  • Support customer onboarding through initial account setup, eCommerce platform adoption, and first-order processes
  • Track onboarding progress and identify process improvement opportunities
  • Execute sales development and commercial operations projects supporting lead generation, customer acquisition, eCommerce adoption, data quality, and process improvement
  • Participate in sales, marketing, and product training
  • Represent the company at conferences and industry events as required
  • Assist with special projects supporting revenue growth and eCommerce initiatives
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual intake and improve triage, routing, and follow-up processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Business, Communications, Marketing, or relevant industry experience
  • 1–2 years of previous sales or sales development experience and an interest in business and/or marketing
  • Proven research skills with the ability to filter critical information
  • Ability to take direction, work independently, and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Previous experience working with Salesforce considered an asset
  • Comfortable with phone and communications with customers
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • High level of integrity and strong commitment to building a successful company
  • Previous experience in sales development, sales operations, marketing operations, revenue operations, customer onboarding, or commercial analytics preferred
