About the role

IT Program Manager leading GenAI initiatives in the insurance industry. Managing cross-functional teams and driving digital transformation projects remotely.

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee the delivery of GenAI projects from planning through execution
Manage project scope, constraints, and roadmaps in collaboration with leadership
Facilitate meetings, document action items, and develop project plans
Conduct cost-benefit analysis and ensure delivery aligns with business priorities
Collaborate across functions to gather requirements and identify necessary resources
Act as liaison between AI Delivery Leads, Portfolio Managers, and business units
Monitor project health, escalate issues when needed, and maintain stakeholder alignment
Develop and present project deliverables, stakeholder maps, and governance plans
Provide regular reporting, status updates, and risk assessments
Independently drive projects while contributing to a culture of continuous improvement

Bachelor’s degree in a related field
MBA or other related advanced degree is a nice to have
PMP or PMI certification is nice to have
8–10 years of proven project management experience, including people management and team building
Experience delivering projects in fast-paced, multi-platform environments
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
Experience in cost-benefit analysis, roadmap development, and project documentation
Ability to work closely with business and technology stakeholders
Proficiency in PowerPoint and ability to present to senior stakeholders
Comfortable with data analysis to inform decision-making
Motivated self-starter with strong attention to detail
Experience working on AI programs or exposure to financial services/sales is considered an asset
