About the role

  • Technical Program Manager delivering multifaceted Liferay DXP web platforms. Leading cross-functional teams in Toronto with Agile methodologies for high-quality digital experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end delivery of Liferay-based web initiatives, from discovery through launch and post-release support
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, dependencies, risks, and mitigation strategies
  • Coordinate across multiple workstreams including frontend, backend, integration, CMS, and infrastructure
  • Track delivery progress, report status, and proactively manage scope, schedule, and budget
  • Act as the primary delivery lead for Liferay DXP implementations, upgrades, and enhancements
  • Understand and guide architecture decisions related to portals, content management, personalization, workflows, and integrations
  • Collaborate closely with architects and engineers on topics such as APIs, microservices, headless CMS, authentication, and performance
  • Ensure web solutions align with security, accessibility, scalability, and performance best practices
  • Lead delivery using Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid Agile
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Partner with Product Owners to refine backlogs, define acceptance criteria, and prioritize work
  • Ensure teams are delivering incremental value while maintaining technical quality
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders on delivery-related topics
  • Translate business requirements into clear, actionable technical work items
  • Communicate risks, trade-offs, and delivery impacts in a clear and pragmatic way
  • Build trust with clients and internal teams through transparency and consistent execution

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Technical PM, Program Manager, or similar delivery role
  • Hands-on experience delivering Liferay DXP or other enterprise portal and CMS platforms
  • Strong understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST APIs, and modern frontend frameworks
  • Solid experience working within Agile delivery models
  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-team technical initiatives
