About the role

  • Recruitment Consultant managing sourcing, screening, interviews, and hiring for Wilson clients. Building candidate pipelines and recruiting manufacturing talent remotely across Canada and the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the selection process by identifying and assessing candidates, conducting initial phone screens, facilitating interviews, and gathering client and candidate feedback
  • Build and maintain a strong candidate network through market research and ongoing bench management
  • Anticipate client needs and hiring manager preferences while delivering strong submit-to-interview and interview-to-offer ratios
  • Develop creative and proactive recruitment strategies for passive and active candidates
  • Present strong talent for open positions and overcome objections in the hiring process
  • Consult with hiring managers on final selections, compensation, and recruitment processes
  • Maintain strong client and candidate relationships and satisfaction
  • Ensure weekly and monthly submit and hire goals are met
  • Update and maintain applicant tracking system data, reports, and related administrative records

Requirements

  • Proven ability to perform all aspects of recruiting, including competitive market research, passive sourcing, advanced internet searches, negotiating and closing candidates
  • Ability to achieve results in a fast-paced, metrics- and deadline-driven recruiting environment
  • Ability to exceed performance expectations and goals and implement feedback
  • Ability to communicate the recruiting pipeline confidently
  • Strong client focus and commitment to continuous improvement
  • Ability to execute recruitment strategies, including clear articulation of RPO and client relationship
  • Strong time prioritization skills, flexibility, and ability to adapt to shifting directions and priorities
  • Active participation on the recruiting team and contribution to open collaboration
  • Computer proficiency, including intermediate MS Office skills
  • Experience working in an applicant tracking system
  • Strong social media presence
  • Experience in manufacturing and high-volume recruitment
