About the role

  • Senior Account Executive selling Cohere’s enterprise AI platform to Global 2000 and large enterprises across Western Canada. Owning strategic partnerships, deployments, and the full SaaS sales cycle.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle from identifying leads and initial outreach through proof-of-concept, deal close, deployment, and ongoing project oversight
  • Acquire net-new logos through outbound activity and relationship building with key stakeholders
  • Use a network of decision-makers and influencers to drive strategic partnerships and win sales opportunities
  • Act as a consultative, trusted advisor to customers and prospects
  • Understand customer challenges, goals, and technology ecosystems and tailor solutions to drive measurable business impact
  • Partner with channel partners to scale outreach and customer satisfaction in the region
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, customer success, marketing, solution architecture, and Sales Development Representatives
  • Represent field feedback to help product and engineering teams prioritize the Cohere roadmap
  • Own the Western Canada territory and support enterprise customer deployments and success

Requirements

  • 8–12+ years of previous B2B sales experience with Global 2000 and large enterprises
  • Experience negotiating and closing transformational multi-year (2–5 year) SaaS deals in the 7-figure range
  • Track record of high performance and exceeding quota
  • Experience as a technical consultative salesperson
  • Experience working with customers during deployment to configure and customize solutions for production success and expansion
  • Experience working with channel partners such as cloud hyperscalers and system integrators
  • High tolerance for ambiguity; ability to be a self-starter, doer, strategist, and wear many hats
  • Curiosity and willingness to develop deep expertise in NLP and Cohere technology
  • Excellent communication, listening, relationship-building, and C-suite engagement skills
  • Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences
  • Deep understanding of the enterprise landscape, including key trends, challenges, and opportunities
  • Ability to articulate the value of AI and NLP solutions in Fortune 2000 operations
