About the role

  • Inside Territory Account Manager growing Fortinet’s networking and cybersecurity revenue across a Montreal territory. Managing sales cycles, partner relationships, forecasts, demonstrations, and Salesforce opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage an assigned territory in support of the team
  • Create and execute account plans from prospecting through building and maintaining a revenue pipeline
  • Drive sales cycles to close while establishing relationships and credibility
  • Provide necessary pre-sales support to prospects and customers
  • Work with Channel Teams and reseller partners to drive deals and increase revenue
  • Meet or exceed assigned quotas and targets
  • Forecast weekly, monthly, and quarterly territory revenue
  • Follow up on inbound leads, website contacts, and corporate event contacts to generate opportunities
  • Accept inbound and make outbound calls to identify sales opportunities
  • Meet and exceed daily call and activity metrics
  • Manage customer presentations and demonstrations using online tools
  • Track sales opportunities, including MGOs, deal registrations, and quotes, in Salesforce
  • Align with channel and partner teams to support company revenue targets
  • Conduct ongoing research and report on supported opportunities
  • Liaise between partners, customers, and appropriate Fortinet team members
  • Perform other duties and projects supporting business growth

Requirements

  • Must be bilingual French and English
  • Must be located in Montreal
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas and targets
  • Understanding of the sales cycle and internal and external business processes
  • Ability to manage and drive the sales cycle from start to finish
  • Ability to manage a diverse, high-volume workload; self-motivated and adaptable
  • Ability to quickly build productive relationships in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
  • Proficiency with various software application programs
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Experience managing and forecasting individual quota
  • Effective time and activity management skills
  • Ability to apply entrepreneurial strengths in a forward-thinking manner
  • Proven work ethic and time-management skills
  • Ability to close business while maintaining high customer and partner satisfaction
  • Public/private cloud experience is a plus
  • Experience with multi-tier distribution is a plus
  • Must have a driver's license and vehicle
  • Required to regularly work outside the office or home office and travel as needed to make a sale
