About the role

  • Technical sales representative advising Central and Eastern Canadian industrial customers on combustion and emissions-control equipment. Driving lifecycle support, turnaround planning, customer relationships, and territory growth.

Responsibilities

  • Provide objective, integrity-driven recommendations that improve customer outcomes and strengthen long-term relationships
  • Maintain a consistent presence within assigned customer accounts through site visits, inspections, technical consultations, training, and troubleshooting support
  • Support fired equipment assets throughout their lifecycle, including commissioning, optimization, maintenance planning, reliability initiatives, retrofits, upgrades, and end-of-life replacement planning
  • Lead turnaround planning by identifying upcoming outages, conducting pre-turnaround inspections, developing equipment recommendations, and coordinating internal resources
  • Anticipate customer needs through engagement, reliability discussions, turnaround planning, and long-range capital planning
  • Capture and communicate Voice of Customer insights to influence product development, service offerings, business strategy, and customer engagement
  • Drive territory growth through customer engagement, opportunity identification, and strategic account development
  • Collaborate with Key Account Managers, Aftermarket Sales, Service, Engineering, and Operations teams

Requirements

  • Experience with process burners, flares, thermal oxidizers, vapor combustors, boiler burners, or related fired equipment
  • Experience building and growing customer relationships through direct engagement
  • Ability to travel 50% to customer sites
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to communicate technical information to a variety of stakeholders
  • Legal authorization to work in Canada without requiring current or future visa sponsorship
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or another relevant technical field preferred
  • Experience supporting refinery or petrochemical turnarounds, outages, or reliability-focused initiatives preferred
  • Experience conducting equipment inspections and developing technical recommendations preferred
  • Hands-on experience commissioning, tuning, troubleshooting, or optimizing combustion equipment preferred
  • Industrial sales, aftermarket sales, technical services, or account management experience preferred
  • Experience influencing technical, operational, and commercial stakeholders preferred
  • Experience using Salesforce CRM, including opportunity management and reporting preferred
