About the role

  • Sun Life financial advisor helping Saskatchewan individuals, families, and business owners achieve lifetime financial security. Building client relationships, financial roadmaps, and insurance or investment solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Build long-term relationships with people and help them plan financially for various stages of life
  • Prepare and execute strategies to attract and connect with new Clients
  • Conduct meetings with prospective and existing Clients
  • Review Clients’ current financial state and gather information about future goals
  • Build financial roadmaps to help Clients achieve their goals
  • Recommend and implement suitable insurance and investment products
  • Meet with Clients on an ongoing basis to keep plans up to date as life situations change
  • Stay current with industry changes through training and professional development
  • Stay connected within the community through networking, marketing, and referrals

Requirements

  • History of achievement in professional, academic, athletic, or other areas
  • Enjoys engaging, developing, and maintaining relationships with people
  • Disciplined and self-motivated
  • Goal-oriented with a strong work ethic
  • Continuous learner with a deep interest in helping others
  • Excellent communication skills
  • College/University degree
  • Some professional experience
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
  • Sun Life will not sponsor authorization to work in Canada, work permits, or permanent residency
  • LLQP and/or Mutual Fund license or course/exam completion is optional
