About the role

  • Enterprise Account Executive owning complex B2B sales for Spinwheel’s consumer credit and payments API platform. Managing discovery, procurement, negotiations, closes, and strategic post-sale accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full sales cycle for new clients, from inbound qualification and outbound prospecting through discovery, demo, negotiation, and close
  • Run structured discovery into prospects' consumer credit lifecycle, technical architecture, and current vendors
  • Navigate multi-stakeholder deals involving product, engineering, legal, compliance, and executive buyers
  • Collaborate with SDRs on account strategy and improve inbound qualification
  • Build and maintain pipeline coverage to meet targets
  • Forecast accurately and consistently in HubSpot
  • Develop knowledge of the competitive landscape and apply it in active deals
  • Share deal learnings, win/loss patterns, and buyer language with Product Marketing
  • Flag product gaps and market signals to product and leadership
  • Own commercial relationships for largest accounts post-close until dedicated account-management handoff

Requirements

  • 5+ years of full-cycle B2B sales experience
  • At least 2 years of direct fintech, API, or sales experience into lending institutions
  • Track record of closing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals
  • Experience selling infrastructure, data, or API-based products strongly preferred
  • Understanding of how APIs are evaluated and purchased
  • Familiarity with consumer credit ecosystems, bureaus, identity verification, payment rails, or lending workflows is advantageous
  • Proven success meeting or exceeding quota
  • Technical fluency in API integration, data normalization, compliance considerations, and technical architecture
  • Ability to accurately represent products, manage expectations, and assess deal fit
  • Data-driven pipeline ownership and prioritization
  • Collaboration with SDRs, CSMs, and technical resources
  • Must currently reside in the US or Canada
  • Must be authorized to work in the US or Canada or not require sponsorship
